Complex Character Rendering + Complex background
Full rendered character(s) (colour or grayscale depending on client needs) placed in detailed complex background. A maximum of x2 full rendered character in a single artwork.

Complex Character Rendering + Basic background

COMMISSION Terms &Conditions
Definitions:
The Artist: The individual producing the artwork/commission ('Jaxxartbox', 'Jaxx', 'Jaxxinabox')
The Client: The individual(s) purchasing the artwork/commission
Commission: The form of service provided by the Artist to the Client per the Commission agreement. "Commission", "Art[work]", "Image[ry]", and "Project[s]" are used interchangably herein and in Commission correspondence.

Turnaround Time / Scheduling
Typically, turnaround times for an artwork (both commercial and/or personal) can vary between 3-8 weeks from commencement (i.e. received payment date) depending on complexity. Additional time may be required to complete the artwork, depending on how ever many revisions are needed. This will be discussed via email before confirming a commission slot.
If The Client is in need of a quick turnaround/rush job (anything within or faster than a 2 week turnaround), an additional rush fee of 25% of the commission price is required on top of the initial quote.
General Process
After the initial deposit has been made by The Client, The Artist will begin the creative process. The Client will receive visual updates/progress shots at every stage: Sketch, Line Art, Flat Colour(s).
It is crucial for The Client to give feedback to The Artist when and where necessary during these stages. Once the Rendering stage is underway, it becomes increasingly more difficult and time consuming to make significant changes. Satisfying The Client is of utmost importance but there ARE limits to what will be altered at the request of The Client. The Artist will only make revisions that are within the confines of existing style and that do not clash with the mission or vision of the artist. This is for the intent of staying committed to business purpose and brand. Please refer to the 'Revisions' section below for more details.
Final hi-res artwork and/or files will be sent to The Client once final payment has been made. Files will be made available in JPG, PNG and/or PSD.
Revisions
Minor revisions past the final lineart and/or flat colour stage (e.g. colour changes, background/props) are acceptable and will not incur a fee.
Complicated revisions during the Rendering stage –past the lineart and/or flat colour stage– (e.g. complete redesigns, lighting change, complex additions) will incur a $60USD fee per revision.
To ensure the commission runs as efficiently as possible, please provide all necessary details about the artwork to avoid too many revisions in later stages and delay the final artwork.Information/details may include (but is not limited to):
Required file size(s) / artwork dimensions / resolution requirements (RGB or CMYK)
Specific scene excerpt from written work
Description of physical character attributes (e.g. hair styles, clothing expressions, accessories, etc.)
Environmental details / specific landmarks in background
Photo references for background, clothing, character design
The Client confirms that reference photos are of the best quality available, well lit and without significant obstruction such as graininess or blurred images. If the supplied photos do not meet these qualifications, then The Client will be notified and understands that it may heavily impact the success of the artwork as far as recognizability and realism.
*Please be advied that The Artist refuses to create a 1:1 copy of any public figure(s) for any characters designed. This is to protect the integrity of The Artist and their work.
If, by the Rendering stage, The Client requires more than 50% of the artwork to be changed/redesigned, this will be considered as a new artwork/project. The Artist will issue another invoice to The Client. To avoid delays, The Client is advised to keep this in mind when discussing the project with The Artist prior to commencement of the project and provide a sufficient amount of visual and/or text reference(s).
Artwork Restrictions
The Artist reserves the right to refuse any commission request for any disclosed or undisclosed reason(s). Please refer to the following list below outlining what The Artist is willing/unwilling to work on.

The Artist reserves the right to stop work on a Commission, or cancel a Commission request due to poor communication, or rude/inappropriate behavior.
Non-commercial Commissions
The Artist retains the right to post the commissioned artwork on all social media platforms at their discretion (unless otherwise discussed with The Client)
The Client is purchasing The Artist's labour only. The Artist retains all rights to the commission, which include but is not limited to: distribution, reproduction, use of the commission for Artist promotion.
The Client may not distribute, reproduce or otherwise profit from the commission, which include but not limited to selling digital and/or physical prints, NFTs or AI training.
The Client may not edit, alter or trace the commissioned artwork without the Artist's expressed written permission, or agreed upon by both parties.
The Client may display the commissioned artwork on social media so long as The Artist's watermark is prominently displayed. Additionally, any display of the commissioned artwork must include a mention and/or tag of The Artist's social media profile(s).
Under no circumstances may The Client submit a commissioned artwork to any kind of contest.
The Client may not incorporate the commissioned artwork in another work of art (or another artist's commission) without expressed written permission from The Artist.
Commercial Commissions
Partial Licensing for promotion usage (does not include distribution and sales) requires an additional 100% of the commission price as quoted in the invoice.
Exclusive / Full Buyout licensing for the commissioned artwork to use for promotion, distribution and sales requires an additional 250% of the commission price as quoted in the invoice.

Payment Details
The Artist works on a "first come, first served" schedule.A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront from The Client before project commencement. The remaining 50% payment is due before The Client receives the final hi-res artwork. 100% upfront payment is also acceptable.All payments to be made via Paypal in USD to: [email protected]
Please provide email and/or social media handle in the description of the payment.When The Client has secured a commission slot after discussing the project with The Artist via email, The Artist will provide an invoice to The Client.
If a deposit has not been made by The Client in (5) five business days after receiving the invoice, the commission slot will be considered forfeit.
Commercial Licenses
Partial License
Under a Partial License, the client receives perpetual rights to use the Work for promotional and editorial purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, printed marketing materials, and other non-commercial uses.The Client does not receive the rights to distribute, reproduce, or sell the Work in any physical or digital form for profit. This includes, but is not limited to, merchandising, prints, books, packaging, NFTs, and AI training.Third parties may only use or publish the Work with the client’s express written permission.The Artist retains the right to display the Work for self-promotional purposes, including on social media and in portfolios. The Artist agrees to delay posting until the client has launched or published the Work, if requested.The Artist retains all rights to commercial physical or digital distribution and sales of the Work.Minor edits such as adding text or adjusting backgrounds are permitted. Major alterations that significantly modify the artwork are prohibited.A visible signature or watermark must remain on the artwork unless the Client credits the Artist appropriately (e.g., by tagging them in social media posts).
Exclusive/Full Buyout License
Under a Full Buyout, the Client receives all rights to the Work on a perpetual, worldwide, exclusive basis. This includes all rights to physical and digital distribution, reproduction, and sales, without the need for royalty payments or further permissions.The Client may grant permission to third parties to use, distribute, or reproduce at their discretion.The Artist relinquishes the rights to use, reproduce, distribute, or sell the Work in any form unless the client grants explicit written permission. The Artist may not use the Work for self-promotional purposes unless authorised by the Client.No watermark, signature, or credit is required under a Full Buyout, though credit and tagging is appreciated.

Upgrading a Partial License
If the Client wishes to upgrade a Partial License to a Full Buyout, they must notify the Artist in writing. The upgrade will require an additional fee, to be agreed before the upgrade takes effect.
